10 Months!

Our sweet little girl is 10 months old. How time flies!

Close, but no smile.

 She is growing like a weed and already wearing 12 month size clothes.

She's adding to her vocabulary all of the time. In addition to Mama, Dada and Lala (Scarlette), she is saying nana (banana) and can identify it by sight. She is very good at repeating sounds and surprised me the other day by saying Rhett (our dog). 

Evie likes to feed herself and her favorite food is "nanas". She likes a wide variety of foods and rarely turns anything down. She particularly enjoys morsels of big people food. Yesterday at lunch Daddy gave her a bite of rib and she clapped her hands. My baby is definitely a carnivore!

Evie has 3 teeth now and 3 more are coming in. Poor kiddo. She's been in a relatively good humor considering.

She is finally officially crawling on her hands and knees. No more army man crawl for this little mover!

She is pulling up and cruising along furniture like a pro. She also is beginning to push her doll stroller along. She'll be walking in no time!

 Evie is such a joy and we can't imagine life without her. 

We are expecting a big crowd this weekend for LaLa's graduation so be watching for a post soon.

PROM 2012!

Prom weekend arrived at last and, along with it, Marc, Crystal and Annabelle. "Auntie" (Crystal) came to perform her hair and makeup magic to transform Scarlette into the belle of the ball.

Evie had fun introducing Annabelle to her toy collection.

9 Months!

I can't believe Evie's already 9 months old! Where has the time gone?

Pictures: Round 1

 I realized that I forgot to put Evie's 9 month sticker on her the first time around so we had to do another round of pictures. However, she didn't want to keep the sticker on so we had to put it on Cuddlebug (the bear). 

She wasn't too happy about taking pictures at first but then her LaLa (Scarlette) got her laughing. YAY!

Evie is pulling herself up on everything now and nothing is safe from her curious hands. She is eating several big people foods, including carrots and bananas. She likes pretty much anything and has a very healthy appetite. 

On another note...

Scarlette is preparing for her big night. PROM! I can't post a picture of her dress because she doesn't want Cameron to see it yet. Trust me, it's gorgeous! Expect a post with lots of pictures on May 12.
